During my trip to London, England, I took a ride on the London Eye, a HUGE ferris wheel. It had a lot of silver cars and one orange car. It's really tall and is a main source of tourist attraction. It sure was, how should I put it, exciting!

The Colosseum was one of the most exciting ruins I visited. It was the Ancient Romans main amphitheater and source of
Gladiatorial fights. Today its pretty much ruins but in the past it was magnificent

Ostia Antica is the oldest ruin Iv'e seen in Rome so far durring my trip. It used to be Rome's port, seaside fort and main
source of salt. When Rome conquered the Mediterranean sea, the Fort had no further use and was abandoned. Today
both it's salt and days as a port are gone. But it is still a main tourist option.

On my trip to Milan from Rome, I spent 2 days in Naples and on the second day I took a visit to the ruins of Pompeii.
Pompeii was a Ancient Roman port town nearby the mountain Vesuvius. Mt. Vesuvius was, unfortunately, a volcano in
a state of dormancy. It's dormancy ended, however, when an earthquake shook Pompeii in 62 A.D. They were still
finishing repairs when, 17 years later, on August 24,the volcano erupted, covering the city in pumice and ash.
2,000 of the 20,000 residents died, although their bodies(and the entire city) were preserved in the ash. Today
Pompeii's ruins are a main source of tourist sights and archeological digs.
